Yes is the answer, Ive been aware of this hidden date for a very long time.:old

It was said to have been placed there to catch out would be counterfeiters and anybody that didnt work
in the security printing business and wanted to try their hand at cheap forgery.

It is intended to make all laser printer traceable from factory to end user therefore giving the authorities the jump on would be forgers,
it can be pacified and rendered useless if you know where to look and how to knocked it out of action, Ill say no more.
Plus there is an awful lot out there WE dont know ? :hide

Users can easily get around the registration by paying the printer cash.

The marks can be made visible with a blue LED light.

As far as I know this technique is not used on inkjet printers.
