I recommend using Windows 10 instead of Windows 7 that gets no security updates any more!

The nice little free-ware program Open Shell, formerly known as Classic Shell, can give you the start button and start menu back,. It can even be set up to make Windows 10 look like Windows 7.

I'm using the newer Open Shell which is very close to or identical to Classic Shell. I've been using Classic/Open Shell since Windows 8 was introduced.

Who's gonna (dare) to tell you ? :p

I've been using MS Office 2002 for decades (literally). I'm so used to the menus and interfaces of Excel and Word 2002 that I'd be at a loss being forced to migrate to newer versions. These arcaic programs run without a glitch on Windows 10 although, according to Microsoft, MS Office version 2002 isn't compatible with Windows 10. You need Office 2010 or later. Probably I'm doing something wrong because Microsoft is always right..

I use the computers at home, but I don’t fix or upgrade them, that’s in the capable hands of my son, he also pays for any new software or O/S upgrades, and who am I to argue with that service..

I am using Office 2005’ish, but we do have the latest office 2016 loaded also, I can honestly say the newer versions of Office have gone to the dogs, so stick with the older versions as long as you can, it’s also built-in to Outlook, which is even worse..

Using Office 2007 for that reason as well...I hate those dam new icons/layouts past Office 2010. Plus needed Outlook as they took Windows Mail out of Windows 10. At least with Windows 7 you were able to add Windows Mail program in manually.
