That looks shorter than a normal BCI-6 cartridge, is that correct, or did they just make most of the cartridge opaque? I wonder why they didn't just go ahead and make the whole thing opaque, except, of course, the window on the bottom for the prism?

Oh this is not a piece of Photoshop for those who are thinking of that.

It's a collector's item. I am open for bids! It's a BCI-6 label on a 221 body and with a 221 chip. That will tell you something about the process of how cartridges are actually manufactured. Darn I wished I had the unopened cartridge.

You must have bought the cartridge from Martin (Octoink) I made the same mistake I bought two rare ones off him & when I refilled them along with four others I already had all six of them didn't absorb the ink properly

No Mike, I bought a rare Cli8 photo black & photo magenta cartridges off Martin as they're really hard to get hold of so I was just making a joke about Martin who stands in for my abuse when Stratman isn't around
