What happened to weink.com? I went there and was redirected to media street. They don't even have the inks for the new canon printers listed.

It looks like weink is gone. There is no announcement, news nor any explanation from weink. This is a very bad business style. They seem to have pulled the plug and left no words to the audiences. I searched internet forums and discussion groups with no result. Nobody noticed it, except this thread here in this forum. Has anyone found out what happened to weink?

Actually they sent out notice through their newsletter on September 2nd:

U-INK@Home Changes at WeInk, LLC - September 2, 2006
http://www.UINK.com 1-888-825-0759 or 1-804-674-6921

WeInk.com & GetInkExpress.com are now combined in one website.

Effective September 1, 2006 WeInk, LLC sold the domain names weink.com and getinkexpress.com, as well as the brand names UltraFLO, CamelFLO, EconoFLO, and the various Chromium brand names to Media Street, Inc. The following additional changes have also occurred as a part of this sale:

WeInk, LLC will continue to sell bulk ink and supplies for wide format inkjet printers as normal. Our canon print heads, cartridge blanks, toner cartridge, toner refill kits, and wholesale bulk ink supplies will remain unchanged (although we will offer some better pricing). All new orders will be serviced through our new consolidated website http://www.uink.com/ .

Bulk ink for small format printers, those with a maximum print width under 24 inches (except for the Epson Stylus Color 3000, Pro 4000, Pro 4800) will now be sold by WeInk, LLC in gallon sizes only at wholesale prices, ranging in price from $85.00 per gallon up to $385.00 per gallon. For retail purchase of bulk ink in sizes under 1 gallon for these printers please visit the Media Street, Inc website. Media Street will be able to provide the same formulations for all dye based inks as those you have been purchasing from us. Pigment inks for Epson printers are custom made by Media Street, Inc and they will gladly provide free custom profiles for those who will be converting to their pigment inks.

All bulk inks for wide format printers, sold by WeInk, LLC will still be available in 500 mL and 1 gallon sizes. You will see new lower prices on all gallon bottles of inks.

WeInk, LLC will no longer sell finished inkjet cartridges, those cartridges already filled with ink, for small format printers. we will continue to sell inkjet cartridges used in wide format printers.

We now use PayPal for all credit card processing and direct person to person payments. If you wish to maintain the privacy of your credit card information select PayPal as your method of payment. Even if you are not a member of PayPal you can still pay for any WeInk, LLC order with your major credit card. If you prefer to have us handle your credit card payment directly, simply select Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express as your method of payment and we will process your payment manually.

Our Virtual VIP program will end effective January 31, 2007. We will not honor any ink purchases made after August 31, 2006 for participation in the final months of our Virtual VIP program. Qualifying ink purchase made prior to September 1, 2006 will allow you up to 6 months Vitual VIP coverage on blanks, refill tools and CRS components. The Virtual VIP program will be replaced with our VIP Gold Membership. Details on the VIP Gold Membership can be found at http://www.uink.com/termsofsale.htm .

WeInk, LLC now sells all bulk inkjet inks under the Endura brand name, and the manufacturer of all of our inks will remain Image Specialists.

I ckecked out the new website http://www.uink.com/ . They have my Canon and Epson inks for $75.00 per gallon. Epson pigment inks for all but the R800 at $53.00 for a 500 mL bottle. They don't sell small bottles any more.

Blank prices are better as well.
