What Canon printer can be currently be bought that can be refilled

I currently have an mp610 and love it. Thanks to this forum I learned how to refill my own cartridges. Now I want to buy a printer for my mother that I can also refill for her. I realize that a lot of the printers that were great to refill can't be bought anymore. I was looking at the ip4500 but no one has it anymore.

So what is a canon printer can I buy that I can refill for a great price?

iP4500, Mp610 and MX850 are great printers using the same printing mechanical engine and print head. Watch for your local ad at Kijiji and Craigslist for them. Bring a set of cartridges and a few pieces of paper to test it out before paying.

Last week, I purchased a iP4500 for $10 from a local Kijiji ad. Most people ask for $40 -$50. I have so many iP4500s that I am not getting too excited unless the price is dirt cheap. I paid $12 for my MP610 from Craigslist last year.
