What are the dangers of using expired ink?

If the ink would be filtered then there would be only the danger if viscosity changed. But if it's sealed tight I guess it's OK. How old is your ink anyway?
I guess I got that stuff... in the fall of 2011. As far as I can tell, (FWTW) the viscosity hasn't changed. Now, how a print head's perception of viscosity differs from mine, I dunno.
Since the only indication of a clog is that 1 failed graph test, I'm going to chalk that up to the emerging problems w/German refill. I think I'll just let my current old inks run dry and then I'll start to migrate to learning top-fill.
