Hi everyone,
My Canon Pro-1 is currently printing blank pages, even on nozzle checks, and there are no error messages.
I’m planning to place the printhead on a paper towel soaked with OctoInk cleaning solution, then run a head cleaning and do another nozzle check.
I previously removed all 12 cartridges to refill them with PGI-72 ink, so I’m wondering if the small ink inlet tubes might be clogged. Would it be safe to gently clean them with a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol?
Any advice would be appreciated

Hello,

Currently trying to save a pro 1 as well. I went to blank pages to mostly working (PBK is still printing almost blank, Y and M are struggling and i have few lines on other colors)

I did many things, one of them was rubbing the printhead over IPA/Canon cleaning solution soaked towel paper and it help in the beginning. But i had to remove the printhead completely and rube the nozzle directly to get better results.

It's funny cause i do the opposit as you. I use pgi-29 carts to refill pgi-72 cartridges xD it happen that i got this pro 1 so i wanted to try to recover it and sell it. Check my other post where i published my initials results.

Those CCIS printers are annoying to clean ! I'll keep trying for a while then i'll try to manually flush the whole PBK channel to see how it goes
