To Refill or not to Refill - Pixma MX700

Hello,

I am brand new to this forum. I got referred by someone in Anandtech.

I own a Pixma MX700 and I was looking to save some money by buying either compatible cartridges or refilling the original ones.

Can someone share your experience with an MX700?
Which scenario do you recommend?

I am willing to refill as long as quality is the same or very close...I do regular printing and some pictures here and there.

It's not so much the printer as it is the type of cartridge, and your cartridge type happens to be one of the preferred.
I would recommend using a chip resetter and Hobbicolors ink.

There ares several resetters available now that are working well...Sudhaus, RKS and others.
Don't know your location, but here is a good buy from a reliable seller if you're in the US :

I am not sure about the quality but I found a resetter for less...

Looks exactly like the one I bought from mapsy. Don't know the reliability of this vendor - he has had a few Negative FBs, but doesn't seem to be on the resetter. Just know mapsy gave me excellent service and fast delivery.
