I imagine that the adverts are something "up with which we must put" (As Churchill once joked about not finishing a sentence with a preposition).

They interfere with the message text. Can we not have two or three carriage return/line feeds after the advert to provide a separation space.

This is how your answer looks on my browser, Hat. There appears an advert in the second post of each thread.

If you view the forum as a guest instead of logging in you see these ads inserted at the top of some posts.

Here is another example, which is worse, note the post text, click to enlarge:

Ah, that explains it, ignorance is bliss, anyway I have a habit of fast forwarding through the ads so they don’t bother me..:smack

I have been blessed I don't see these pesky ads, due to parental controls.. :gig

I don't see those ads either, and I don't have "parental controls". There are other ways of blocking most ads on any webpage...

Ah yes but I would have to put on my glasses on to see this new dementia thing myself, because I can't for the life of me remember having experience it before. :hu

Who are you and why are you talking to me?

This would be much more fun if in person while drinking adult beverages, preferably at your favorite pub. :drool
