quick review, back in the day 7 years ago, had to pretty much find your own squeeze bottles, needles, scabbards, etc. nowadays there are several forums members who offer ready made kits, @websnail and @mikling.

i just received my CLI-42 ink refill kits for my PRO-100 from @mikling, nicely packaged, resetter, squeeze bottle system.

see new pics below of OLD(PGI5/CLI8, 4oz bottles) and NEW(CLI-42s, 8oz bottles)

to see original thread pics and video see

note, i use plumbers tape around threads on bottles, to make sure it is a nice tight fit.

FYI, in over 7 years i am at over 700 refills. much thanks to all in this forum who have helped along the way, hope this helps others.

I recently started with the bottles from octoink.co.uk (@websnail).
The 50ml are the best, much softer than the 125ml, easier to drip my PGI-9 cartridges.

Thanks for the suggestion of the "plumbers tape" (suppose you mean the white teflon).
I caused a leak by removing the aluminium seal with a cutter.

Thanks for the tip on the PTFE tape @jimbo123 because I have one of mine that always seems to leaks and I think that @palombian is right about the bottle size too.
