I'd like to test the WeInk spongeless for my Canon i865, but it looks to me they are very expensive, 10.40 $.

I got an offer from Jetyoung in China for 1.00 $ each, of course I cannot say what's the difference in quality and in addition the shipping costs are very high from China, but still I would pay half of the price.

Anybody tried the WeInk in the meantime?

Thanks
Alex

It has been thoroughly discussed in an earlier thread. Search for Jetyoung.

Yes that is the Jetyoung spongeless cartridge.

Interesting to look at their refill instructions. A normal sponged BCI 3e takes ~26mls and a spongeless takes ~ 13mls. This confirms my findings that the spongeless holds less ink. I am still using one spongeless black cartridge with no further issues.

Metallo, if you really wish to try these Jetyoung cartridges, you are much better in buying a relatively large quantity (I bought 5 for each color, 25 cartridges total) and add some small ink bottles as well. They (Jetyoung) are quite flexible. And choose EMS freight for transfer; I had my own package delivered (in Greece) in just 4 days from China!

How much do JetYoung products cost? I emailed them but got no reply.

$1 per cartridge, $0.7 per 100ml bottle of ink ($1.55 for pigmented black). But I really don't recommend their cartridges. They caused serious problems on my printer.

$8.95 vs. $1. What a difference for a same thing that doesn't work?
