I have an Epson 1540SU scanner that seems to be on it's last legs and using it with silverfast to calibrate my 1280 w MediaStreet G6 ink is resulting in bizzare results all over the map.

I'd like to use my mp830 but this is not a scanner supported in silverfast.

What software exists to generate an icc profile for a scanner, and what exists to generate a printer profile from a scanner.

You could try Profile Prism to make profiles, and imatest to test them. But as making profiles is a part of my business I can say that making a profile using a scanner is very good way to kill some time :)

If you’re serious about it you should pay somebody to do it. Local service preferred.
