Hi, I was wondering why Canon along with other major companies invest so much money into various dust shake-off technologies that does not work and make your camera dust accumulator.
The glue strips eventually needs to be changed and that means huge expenses $$$ for the user.
Why not instead make a special thin glass filter like (AA filter on sensor) just inside the thread. Remember the dust can be easily seen on your sensor filter but not your lens front or rear elements. So you would need normal means to clean the filter and be done with it.
Light comes in "straight fashion" from lens back element and normal hi quality filter like (AA filter on sensor) would not interfere with it.
So why nobody makes it?
