after reading one of grandad35's messages i found out about RTV which is obviously a compound heat resistant silicone based adhesive for bonding printheads, excellent stuff now i know what i need to repair a head. only thing is what kind do you get since there are a few to choose from according to mgchemicals.com when you run a search for RTV.
