I've heard lots of good stories about refilling laser inkjet cartridges so I thought I'd give it a try at my last company... boy am I glad I did!

I scoured the internet for toner refill kits and found a plethora of choices. Being the cheapskate that I am I went with a company that had good reviews on eBay and great prices. I got my kit from http://www.cartridgerefill.com/

I followed the easy instructions to burn / melt a hole into the corner of the cartridge, pour in the toner, re-seal the hole, install the cartridge.

Definitely not rocket surgery... er... um... brain science.... whatever! :)

I refilled the toner cartridge 2 times before I left the company, so I wasn't able to see how many refills I could get before the wiper blades, etc. were too far gone and we'd have to get a new cartridge.

Last week I was shopping the net for toner refills for my LaserJet 4Plus. I was going to buy them from cartridgerefill.com again, but saw a new seller on eBay with a lot of good feedback. Many people had used and liked this seller's toner so I'm going to give that a try here in a few days. Here is the link:

I'll post again after I've given it a try!

"burn / melt a hole into the corner of the cartridge"

Nifty, that's sounds like a lot of rocket science involved to me lol.
