PGI-520Bk, CLI-521Bk, CLI-521C, CLI-521M, CLI-521Y
~20euros

but there are no CLI-521GY.

anybody knows how to refill grey cartridge. and there are grey ink ??

The grey ink can be refilled like the other inks. I refill it using the german method well described in this forum.

you can buy grey ink from ebay I saw some specifically made for the MP980

as I understand there are no autochips for grey cartridge?

To answer your second question about ARChips: YES They exist.
What carts does your printer take PGI/CLI 52x or PGI/CLI 22x or PGI/CLI 32x cos the chips are different.

you can buy refillable carts with all chips from ebay but it is not recommended since carts are made of inferior quality. your best go is use OEM Carts and refill them when they are empty. for the chips I use the oem's and disable the ink monitoring system (which is useless even with archips)

I'm using refillable carts (made in china) for epson rx295 1.5years, since no problems

There is big difference between epson print heads and canon print heads

There is big difference between epson cartridges and canon cartridges

You can easily kill a canon print head if ink is not supplied correctly cos it uses heat.
