Not sure if aftermarket cartridges have the same spring + plastic bag...I suspect they likely must have to in order to work properly.

OEM carts are the only ones guaranteed to work, all the rest are just poor remakes, but even OEM carts will leak if you’re not careful..

Don’t worry about the waste ink tank filling, it’s not a problem on these printers..
