Today I printed one page OK. Then I tried to print 5 pages and it said I was out of paper. I tried going single sheets through the back tray and multiple sheets through the front tray. Every time it says I'm out of paper!

Any ideas? All help will be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully it is still under warranty and you can turn the problem over to Canon.

Sounds as if it could be some sort of sheet detector device malfunctioning, but I wouldn't have a clue where to start troubleshooting.

Possibly some of the tech guys on this site will come up with suggestions.

You could try clearing the print spooler, then closing all the paper trays front and back and shutting down the printer for five minutes, when you power on again the printer should accept a print job without signalling another error..
