printing test page for all types of printers

I feel terribly stupid that I just now found out that you can print a test page by just hooking up the power to your printer. Does anyone know of a website that I can get all the tricks for test pages for all different kinds of printers.

i think there is a special combination button for each printer. to make the printer print the test page. and for canon as far as i know, there is 2 kind of test print. Standart test print, and extended test print. For HP there also 2 ( actually 1, but the another also can used as a test print cause it show's a colour pattern ) 1st the paper alignment and 2nd the purging test this test was built inside the printer firmware.
And printer driver also has a test print for each printer. ( a butterfly pattern for HP, for an example )
