I replaced the carts last night, everything seemed O.K. but this morning a nozzle check showed some spurious black dots on the right side of the printout.
I removed the head and rised it under the tap.The problem vanished, but note that last week I found half a toothpick on top of a sheet as it printed off.I never found the other half, but suspect that this is related to the problem, but since I'm not the one who eats strawberries with a toothpick when working around the computer/printer, I know that it 'twerent me.
I do have to report that my other Canon has (literally) a bug in it.I saw a sow bug fall from above and into the sheet feeder.I don't know if it's still inside, I opened the printer imediately but no sign.Hope it's in with the waste ink.
