Go for a Canon BJC-85...tiny, good quality and cheap cartridges. Will also work with a battery. But...no printer will really hold up to high heat and freezing cold. You could prepare a styrofoam case to keep the temperature more constant...and it would hide the printer and make it less likely that someone will break into your car!!!

Just to really emphasise the need for you to insulate the printer against high and low temperatures (more the former than the latter)..

Not sure how successful you'd be either so let us know how you get on if you decide to try it...

... and just as a random thought.. would a laser printer be a smarter move in respect of temperature conditions? I appreciate the whole power issue then kicks in mind.. Hmm... the mind boggles..

I have an insulation business
so i will try to think up a good way to insulate the printer and my laptop

i am thinking a center box in the back seat hooked to an air vent
and insulated to stay cool

what is the safe range to keep the printer in 40 to 80 ?

thanks for the help
