I have a new Canon Pro 9000 MKII and have printed a few photos on various sizes of paper.

I'm happy with the results but am curious if members on the forum print borderless regularly, and if so does it mess up the printer with overspray.
I read a few comments elsewhere on the net that people choose not to do it, as it causes problems with contamination of prints, and messes up up the inside of the printer.

So I am asking here, as the forum is frequented by many knowledgeable and experienced printers ;)

Canon printers have overspray sponge located in those areas that allow you print certain borderless photos. So you will not mess up the printer by printing overspray photos.

I have printed thousands of borderless prints on my Pro9000 with no dirtying of the inside of the printer. These printers are designed to print borderless you will have no problems doing so.
