poor colour on photos

Hi newbie here hope you can help me with my problem,I have a brother mfc 215c and every photo i print is like looking through a green filter,gone through the cleaning process,change to better quality paper,changed the ink cartridges but the photos are just the same.The ink is a compatible i'm not after top quality photos just to frame them.I'm also using my camara software advice from a photographer,open to any suggestions thanx

1. What does the nozzle check show (I assume that this function exists on your printer)?
2. How did the colors look when you were using OEM ink?
3. When did the color shift (e.g. when you switched to the compatible ink)?
4. If your magenta is weak (or missing), you will get a green color cast.
