I understand that pigment ink breaks down when left in the cold. Apparently the solids drop out of suspension or something like that.

Well, If I order pigment ink and it is "flown" to me, doesn't it get quite cold during the flight in the cargo bay?

I'm just wondering.

No, the cargo bay is about the same as the cabin, they put dogs and cats in there after all.

I'm not totally sure about that. What about the jets that carry nothing but packages for cargo? Another scenario I've witnessed/experiencec many times is that when I bring frozen items back/to from a foreign country it is still frozen after several hours of transport and flight. A third scenario, is when I arrive in a humid country my luggage will start condensing water because the luggage is so cold. Even though it was packed at normal temps.
