Aardenburg testing has published a report about the fading stability of the Canon Lucia and Epson K3 and the newer HD inks with these results :
Canon Lucia inks perform the best, and the Epson HD inks perform much better than the previous generation K3 inks.

These are tests with the genuine Canon and Epson inks, an important question remains open - how do
3rd party inks perform in comparison - against different suppliers and against the original inks. Once the Epson HD inks came onto the market various suppliers - Lyson - Vermont ink etc offered 'compatibles' soon after
