He has the city, a county, a river, a mountain range, a mountain peak, a US Fort, a TV series, a play, a geologic orogeny (Laramide orogeny) and a prehistoric continent (Laramidia) named after him! The NBC "Peacock" introduced the TV series, and became known as the "Laramie Peacock".
