Agreed!

Bit of bawdy fun with the blokes from time to tome is OK, but bottom line, very much prefer overall PG setting. Heck my wife and grandchildren often wander in while I am busy on the computer.

Google policies must have changed over the years. Many years ago whilst giving my youngest Grandchild a treat, and in his presence, typed "toys" into Google Search. The result was anything but family fare. Quite edifying in fact. Fortunately he was too young to understand. :(

later edit - just tested google search and now "TOYS" very bland - A definite change over the years.

I just tried it and it's all still there. You just need to be a bit more specific for the adult stuff to rise to the top. :ep

I don't recall anyone advocating censoring on the forum, though it is tolerated as a requirement to maintain the forum's association with Google. It appears that Rob is in the middle with Google rules on one side of him and forum members wishes on the other side. His choice is clear and understandable to keep the relationship with Google for the continued operations of the web site.

However, Google is a wee bit hypocritical about adult images, even suggestive or optical illusion-like images, when you can find porn out the ying yang (a technical term) to last eternity on Google.

Why you not give another picture of illusion, don't focus in one term to make something to look at it raises attention...

Who's going to submit a pic for me to use for the POW next week? Or must I head over the pic contest thread and borrow a few of the wonderful entries we got there? :)

Read your post Jan 14th 2015 to me.

When Google objects it is immediate and will not allow one to continue. Pulling the image is simply a display of conservatism at its worst.........and adds nothing to the forum.
As I type this there is a pop up on behaf of the ANZ Bank offering a Visa Credit Card to kids over 14. THAT IS OBSCENE but ok by Nifty....so I take it that he supports and sanctions minors having access to credit without first having a demonstrated ability to repay....but elbows in a bath is not ok......sorry folks pull the other one IT has bells on it.

My suggestion is that the owner and/or moderator's get to to choose their preference of any image submitted in the past week. Sort of fringe benefit for the unheralded work they contribute to maintain the quality of this site.

As for me I would go for a nice clean well composed nozzle check without too much HDR or over processing. Definitely no halo effects allowed. :(
