Since my ip6000 died I'm left with these photo inks that are no longer required.
Now that I'm using an ip4300, what's the colour difference between photo and non-photo inks.
If I put the photo cyan/magenta ink in the regular cyan/magenta carts will it all end in tears?
Is it OK to put photo black in the pigment cart?
(using Precision Colors).

The Photo cyan and magenta have much less colour strength than the regular cyan and magenta. Using them in the new printer will not ruin the printer, but printed colours will be totally wrong. You can use photo (dye) black instead of the pigment black, but I would recommend using the pigment black. Never use pigment black in the photo black cartridge, it will clog the nozzles and possibly ruin the print head.
