Hello, I hope someone could help me with my case... I would like to extend my FFC. It's 13 inches long, 5 pins for the printers "paper feed sensor" It has a label of AWM 2896 80C 30V VW-1 which I'm not familiar with. I have some spare FFC's with has different label awm "20624" 80c "60V" vw1 and has more pins... Now I'm thinking of cutting down the FFC with more pins down to 5 pins and splice it somehow, extending upto 45 inches. It has the same pitch, Is it gonna work out fine? If there's incompatibility or drawbacks, what are they specifically?
