Looking for another paper with same properties (glossiness when printed with dye inks, black level.)

Canon has used a "color reproduction layer" - that is why it looks like "laminated" when you compare to simple resin or microporous paper like even the HP premium glossy plus paper.
So far haven't found alternatives for this paper perhaps others had better luck.
