I received a new OEM toner cartridge today and popped it into the printer and the first 5 pages came out perfect, so I’d say the problem is fixed, the other toner was obviously duff.

Glad it was not anything serious and you are back up and running Now you just need to learn how to dupe the printers toner measuring functions and refill them yourself like ink

I use the printer so little that it wouldn’t be worth my while to refill the cartridge; anyway this new cartridge will last for another 6 or 7000 sheets..
