Newbie: To Epson 1400 Do I Refill ? What and Where to Buy Kit

Hello My First Post

I just ordered a Epson 1400 off Amazon for $183 +S&H
New as far as I can tell...

I think I want to refill as ink is pretty high and I am by no means a Pro printing for $$$

I read the Epson inks are best and non oem's will fade..
Can I change inks from dye to pigments is one question ??????

I really like the CIS/CFS systemsbut how much maintance work do I need to do??
I am super handy but if its more or as much work as simple refilling why bother..

Also how would I add vaccume back to a leaking system when you have ink in it..
I seen a video on setting up a empty system and I understand that..

LAST..

Where to buy and What?????????????????

I see some super low prices at eBay but I worry about quality..

Another question can you change inks from Dye Based to Pigment Based in a Epson 1400???

Anyone know if something is needed to reset the chips on the 1400?

Also if anyone knows of a forum with info on this printer please do share it, seems like this forum favors the Canon printers and want as much info on the 1400 as possible.

Yes and No.....
You can not refill the stock carts and no one made a resetter a few months ago..

But I had bought two sets of refillable carts with auto reset chips at eBay for $28 each set
Seller was in China
