I am trying to find my way around, but it's difficult to see the wood for the trees. What is the correct way to start a new topic?

You’re not alone here, there’s a lot of confusion still on the How To..

Try going to the home page then picking the category you want to post in
and then at the top of the page just under the banner you’ll see a grey box
with Post New Thread,

Then you can go for it.

Thanks very much to The Hat, I hadn't found that! Very much a learning phase.

While I'm here I'll try an upload. Something the grandchildren love at this time of year!

Copy-Paste from another graphics prog doesn't seem to work, I'll try upload a file.


I wonder whether a thumbnail expands when you click on it?
