THATs cool lets wait how the retail prices will settle in.. and how we can surpass the Code that one has to enter after refilling a specific color

okay i checked
its like 240 from Poland
300 in Germany from various sources.

I just bought two weeks ago various P50 Printers from an Germany version of craigslist,
all of them very very slightly used from range 30 to 45 (mint with box and everything w/o OEM cartriges)

I usually pay 110 for 6000ml of CLARIA Compatible Inks (OCP brand)

Epson sells their 70ml bottel from 6~10

I pay les then 1,5 per 70ml

I cant really see how Epson is aiming here in EU, most of the heavy Epson printers users I know personally have their own CISS setup or they even working with mutliple sets of refillable cartriges.
even at 240 price range I have to PRINT A lot to get into the same price region as with the DIY solution

They are not offering any A3+ with OEM CISS or even pigment based machines.
Question is how well would a Epson Photo L800 (based on Artisan 50/Stylus Photo P50) perform with an 6 color pigment mix?

Epson, Canon, HP... A "few"
Just for clarity those are more like SX435W, XP100, etc... printers, definitely not P50 quality or calibre...

...but where to buy?

PS:
Clever guys from epson .. you get a kind of serial number on the bottles... (end of video clip)

I remember those models a year ago, but only for asian market.

test:

Try google translator.
Summary: very low cost, conveniant refilling, good color prints, bad black and white prints (i.e. color cast? comparison with p50 would be helpful), slow printing

ca. 300 for a p50 with ciss... compared to the non-ciss it is very expensive ... but with genuine epson ciss...
70ml for ca. 10-15 would be more than reasonable, if it is real claria quality.

PPS: what about the waste ink tank?

Awesome broschures :D

the L800 has an Waste Ink Tray and an Waste Ink Pad Lower / Waste Ink Pad Cap Lower
Here are some pic's
Lower Waste ink Caps (two of them) with their pads in place

One Lower Waste Ink Pad removed from its cap

classic P50 Waste Ink Tube outlet could be directly attached to an Waste Ink DIY Outlet box

Container like Waste Ink Tank filled with cotton foam

I dont know how MANY prints are able to do without resetting the printer BUT a original Adjustment Tool is out somewhere.
Reseting is done within 2 seconds since this device is already really popular in indonesian and other asian countrys

I have just read a test in a german magazine (C'T 17/2012)

summary: good photo printer, good ciss, original claria ink,
a bit slow if set on highest quality
"Buy one while on holidays in poland"
