My Epson 1280 has given up the ghost with the permanent red light. I've tried numerous solutions to fixing it but no luck.
Anyway, I've had it for about 4 years and always liked the quality. Does anyone have any suggestions for a comparable (price and quality-wise) unit? Also, I had a CFS system hooked up to it from www.inksupply.com and would like to have a similar set up on my new unit.
I am a graphic designer and my wife is a photographer/photography professor at a university. Its mainly her work that is driving this purchase. These prints don't necessarily need to be archival (her gallery work is very large, so she goes to a high-end company for prints she shows), but they do need to be high quality.
Any suggestions would be great.
thanks,
John
