Hi,

Recently got this printer, have done printhead alignment etc, but no matter which paper feed I choose the prints coming out skewed. At first I thought that the paper feeder gets the paper unevenly but then, after measurements, turns out that the printhead or feeding mechanism slightly pushes the paper or ink from right to left while printing, or somehow I didn't set correct values in the printhead alignment process, but did it twice.

Any ideas what is happening here?

EDIT
Papers are OK, I'm measuring papers to match standard on every print

Thanks!

I could assume that the paper is not cut strictly rectangular - just put 2 sheets on top of each other - one sheet just turned around by 180 deg - don't mix front and backside. What do you get ?

I dont get, it....

Print two pages (same print), then turn top page 180deg?

I don't think it's a paper problem anyway, I've measured all corners, papers are ok

Don't even print anything - just put 2 sheets on top of each other - one turned around changing top and bottom

Done that - Absolutely same results! :(

I must admit I'm a kind of lost about the effect you are having; I'm looking into the service manual and see on p148 that a paper skew adjustment can be done - with the adjustment program which you would have to buy separately to the manual if available at all, and it is not clear that this function would fix your problem.

Printer is at service center now, but anyway, I can't find that in manual. Can you please tell me how this program is called?

I'm using the service manual, not the user mnl , there is a paper skew adjustment mentioned on p 148 but I'm not sure whether that would fix your problem

ok thanks a lot. I'll try to get this software anyway.
