My MP970 has been printing photos well with prism profile and Qimage. But suddenly the photo turned extremely green (not just a slight cast). After reprofiling the printer, there's still a slight green cast. Does anybody know if the printer/Qimage has a setting that I may have accidentally changed?

It's interesting that the color looks OK when printing on plain paper using the default printing program. Using CD label print, I get a red cast compared to what I was used to and can be corrected by turning up the red and mag +5.

any thoughts?

You may have lost a set of magenta nozzles. Can you do a nozzle check and upload the image here?

I did a nozzle check and it looked fine but here's the scan. Not quite sure how to upload but let me try.

It looks to me like your bottom photo magenta may not be complete but this might just be because it is very small to see. Can you upload a much larger version?

Thx ghwellsjr.

The lower PM is good on the original. As I mentioned earlier, printing on plain paper, say a web page, using the default program appears to be fine. It may be a setting in Qimage that I accidentally changed.

Bear in mind that Qimage keeps its own (private) settings for the printer driver(s) for each ICC profile that it uses, so if you made a change to these settings at any time in the past from within Qimage, they will still be there.

It also looks like the Photo Cyan is darker than the Cyan. Is that right?

Yes, it does on the original too.

Perhaps I have inadvertantly mixed up the inks during filling. I'll see what happens with a new set.

Thank you all.
