MP 610 story

Switched printer on, lifted cover,lowered flap that is used to print disks for better access to cartridges (yes I know it's not necessary to do this) removed and refilled carts, lowered cover and............ lots of clumping and banging sounds from the printer ! You guessed, I forgot to return the flap to it's upright position !
Still seems to be printing ok but I guess it can't be good for the printer

You really need to return the flap to the correct position. Nothing is hurt but as you said it is for printing disks.
