I now use Formulabs bulk ink from Alotofthings to refill, but others are also quite happy with Image Specialists bulk ink (available from several suppliers). I don't want to say which ink I was using prior to this because I don't know for sure that the ink was the problem. Most of the refillers on this forum recommend that you buy ink that is known to be manufactured by one of the major ink formulators.binkie said:
AFAIK, none of these inks will perfectly match the color of Canon OEM ink; but this can easily be corrected by buying an "ICC profile" for your printer/ink/paper combination.
