MG5150 refill

Hi in reference to the MG5150, I`ve just been reading that the 520s are much easier to fill then the 525s are............

I thought these carts were almost the same. Can somebody explain please?

The dimensions are the same, so if you transfer the chip the two sets of cartridges can be interchanged. The PGI-520/CLI-521 cartridges have windows allowing you to see the ink level in the reservoir, making them easier to refill than the opaque PGI-525/CLI-526 cartridges.
