I have a nearly two year old Canon G2010 and I am facing some issues with the magenta colour. One fine day while printing I see that the Magenta was not printing correctly and was kinda brownish hue. I checked my tanks and supply line and all were full. I did a deep clean and kept it aside for the night. In morning I checked and it was printing fine and colours were good and accurate. Now after 2-3 days I printed again and faced same issue and I checked and it became brownish again. This time a simple clean solved it. This was a week back, and guess what today its back to the same thing.
Is this a issue with the head or something else? I called a Canon Technician and he said it was normal and wanted to change the full ink pad and head which obviously seemed like a sales scam to me as EEPROM data showed Ink pads as 25% saturated.

I had this happened to me when I was a newbie with refill. I occurred after I manually cleaned with syringe. It looks like you might have channel leak but that is the worse cast. Try to clean your wiper and cap station first!
