Install printer driver without actual printer?

Hi, I would like to install several Canon, HP, Epson printer drivers without actual printers.
I need to so so because I want to take a look at driver settings etc.

Perhaps there is some sort admin installation mode or something because many manufacturers prompt you connect the printer before driver files a copied.

Seems I found a way:

Run driver installer, but don't use it. While it is still open go to

CDocuments and Settings\Your username goes here\Local Settings\Temp\CanonUPW_000\INST\Win_X32\ES40

"CanonUPW_000\INST\Win_X32\ES40" - depends on printer you try to install. Then use normal add/remove printer and select "have a disk". Navigate to this folder and let it install the normal way. Since you install without printer the port can be LPT1 it does not matter.
