Ink for Ricoh GX7000

Hi, since this Ricoh GX7000 uses piezo printhead I think that pigment ink would work, however searches turn out only dies ink. Why?

This Ricoh Gel ink is certainly not dye since you can't wash it off by water test.

But no normal way to buy, and I still wonder would Epson ink work?
