Hello all,
This morning I was using photoshop and playing with the "gamut warning" preview. I used to have a Canon i960 and recently obtained a Canon 9000 mk2. I was surprised to see the Canon i960 had much less "gamut warning" than did the pro9000 for equivalent paper profiles (PR1 compared to PR1). This doesn't make sense to me as the new printer includes Red and Green cartridges and all the same ones from the i960(save for being BCI-8).
Does anyone here have an explanation for this? Is it just the old profiles were inaccurate? Or is the gamut for the i960 somehow actually larger?
