HP Laserjet 4 OPC drum / wiper - retail source

I've searched and only found wholesalers/importers, but does anyone know of a RETAIL source for the internals of a toner cartridge. 98A for a Laserjet 4 ?
I need an (some) OPC drum.
I might buy wipers with them.

I'm beginning to think the Toner cartridge industry is as closed shop as the printer manufactures ink cartridge business.
At least DIY people have got around the ink cartridge stranglehold.
Why has nobody got around the problem of "no toner cartridge internals for DIY'ers"?

Surely there's a retail source for OPC drums and wipers - parts for the inside of a Laserjet 4 toner cartridge?

Try eBay. I have purchased fuser sleeve for my Laserjet 6P.

I've looked there recently. Didn't see one for my printer.
You would think some DIY refiller business would be on top of this problem.
The parts in the Toner carts only last for so long, so why on earth they're not making them available to DIY toner refill consumers, so they can do a good job, beats me?

Surely there's a bigger name reliable outlet selling these things?

Static control is one co that sells quality stuff, unfortunately only to its registered network of dealers. Try contacting the nearest static office and find one of their retailers closest to you and you are done.

last month, i bought cartridge for c6578dn with a sepcial discout at http://www.cartridgebuys.com/.
maybe you can try it. they have a nice contact person. so we became comfortable to buy at there.

How many OPC drums are you after? I stock these as well as most of the HP Brother and Xerox. I can also point you to a good supplier if you frefer.
