HP cable connection

i have a laserjet 1100 that is a work horse, now i would like to use it with my apple laptop, but the laptop only has a usb port, no parrallel port, what options are there to make the connection from a micro centronics 36 male to a usb port thank you

You can buy a USB to standard Centronics parallel printer port adapter for around $40 at any of the popular office or electronics stores but I don't know if they will work with Apples.

but i think the centronics on the printer is a micro and i have not been able to find that size
