im trying to decide on a new photo printer all-in-one
im thinking of the hpc5380 http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/nz/en/ho/WF06b/18972-18972-238444-410635-410635-3560270-3726260.html or the c309 http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...link=ot_we/prodlink/en_us/3793676/loc:0&cc=us
vs. the canon mp545/mp560 http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=2610&modelid=18954

all the printers above has a maximum print resolution of 9600x2400dpi at 1pl ink droplet size. they also use a 5ink cartridge system of black, photoblack cyan, yellow, cyan, magenta.

the c5380 is the most affordable, but the c309 and the mp545 got wifi. also the hp's got a removable printhead

print speed doesnt matter much to me. i also know how to refill, mount ciss, and supplies are available easy

my questions are:
1. how much are the printheads for those printers if ever i have to replace mine?
as i understand, the canon and the hp above uses similar tech with regard to the cartridge and by assumption on the printheads except that the canon's cannot be easily removed.
2. how does the print resolution and droplet size equate to print quality aside from making finer prints?
3. am i better off with a 6 color epson photo printer, which i currently have and which decided to retire on me? (also epson have lower max print resolution, i think half the resoution of the printers listed above)

lastly my main concern is the availability of replacement printhead and the cost, because im sold on refills and ciss, but have suffered nightmares regarding clogged heads. I destroyed my dcp130c trying to clean the printhead, which i understand is next to impossible to clean and repairing it costs the same as a new printer.

Thanks to all for the help.

BTW, i searched the site for the above info i was asking about but cant find any

thanks again
