How to understand Epson printer driver settings?

I am confused about settings in printerdriver.
How different settings affect print quality?
For example if we change quality from text->foto>bestfoto (office printers standard to high) , what is changing on the print? Resolution? Amount of ink?

I would like to make a detailed and structured description of all settings.

1. Quality settings. (what resolution, density of ink?)
2. Paper type. (ICC profil, colors.? What driver can change?)
3. High Speed Mode. (one or two ways head printing?)
4. Photo enhance ?
5. Edge smoothing ?
6. Color management.
-color controls
-fix foto (face recognition or scene selection., what this affect?)
-ICM
-no color adjustments
7. Color correction (epson Vivid or standard or? )

Other important settings?

I hope it can help for anyone searching information about settings.

I'm not sure to understand where you want to get to with this list - and what your parameters are for 'print quality', some is self explanatory and you should try to make some printouts of test pages to compare different settings - test pages with a variety of different motives - low/high contrast, B/W , portrait, landscape or else. I just can't find it - we had a list of suitable test pages here on the forum
