Hi guys,
I'm newbie in this field so I have to ask to someone more expert what to do to preserve an ink cartridge just refilled.
My idea is to have 2-3 kits of the same cartridges so I can replace a cartridge once empty without the necessity to recharge it immediately.
I think this is useful when you have to print something important and you don't have enough time to refill the cartridge.

On the light of this, could someone explain me which is the correct way to store a cartridge for some months? Please consider that I do not have the orange caps :/

I tried to search inside the forum but it seems that nobody has never asked something like this or more prolly I didn't use the correct key words.

Thanks in advance to everybody

Here are a couple more threads with suggestions found by entering "storage clips" into the forum search engine. This search produced 2 pages of hits, I picked these threads from the topics listed in the search results. : http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7603&p=1 and: http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7117

I think the easiest solution would be to use storage clips like these: http://www.octoink.co.uk/products/Cartridge-Clips{47}Holders-[Canon].html

Your luck with search engines depends on if you guessed the proper search term. Maybe this tip posted by Tudor will be helpful: http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=61312#p61312
