How to decide between the two?

I've had my Samsung clp 310 for several years now, and I was very satisfied with it, but it sort of died on me :S So, I decided to get a new one, wireless this time. I've been browsing through this site, and I set my mind on two of them: Canon and Brothers.
Now, I would like to hear some opinions on which printer is more suitable for a small, home office..

Are you talking specifically about laser printers or inkjet printers, would it be colour or just Mono ?

It depends on your need, such as do you need color printing or only black printing? Do you need multifunctional printing or not?
Or cheaper price or other else? Anyway, Canon printers are more popular than the Brother printers, So Canon printers are a good choice for all of us.
